Poems From Ago
Poems from Ago write and perform music to Irish poems, original works, contemporary and classic. We are a singing duo; Remco on guitar and Juliana on violin, intertwining their individual styles and composing music based on the form, syntax and rhythm of the poems chosen.

Calamari
Since 2020 Calamari proposes a guitar and voice journey into music of South America, Southern Italy and Greece.
From bolero to posteggia, bossa to rebetiko, they will drive you through lost and found love, heartaches and happy endings to cry, drink and smile.

Manolis Fragkiadakis (guitar, voice) hails from the island of Crete, known for its strong musical tradition. He started playing classical guitar at an early age, slowly shifting to the acoustic and electric guitar throughout his teens. Since 2006 he has been playing in various events and restaurants in Athens as a rebetiko guitar player. Currently he resides in Leiden where he also performs and gives workshops on rebetiko music.

Francesco Vinci (voice, guitar) grew up in Cilento, Italy, in an Italo-Venezuelan family, influenced by the musical tradition of both countries. Since 2008 is active in the Southern Italy folk scene (Progetto Macardio, Kiepó, ‘U Massaro) and from 2013 to 2016 performed with Posteggiatori Tristi in live and recording sessions. In 2016 graduated in classical guitar at conservatory of Naples, Italy. Since 2018 is based in Leiden, where in 2020 co-founded Calamari.

Kalotaszeg

Doors open: 18:00 / Showtime: 20:30 sharp, entrance: donation
