The Bird Experience is raw desire set to rhythm, sweat slick on skin, the sting of whiskey on a split lip. Born from the mind of composer, singer, and harmonicist Mees Vullings (known for his work with the progressive psychedelic rock band Heath), it’s a mix of blues soaked in swamp water and psychedelia hallucinating under circus lights with the reckless spirit of jazz always riding shotgun. Energiek duo waar de liefde voor vuige blues van af druipt. DRUM&BEEKER steunt op stevige gitaar-riffs en stuwend drumwerk. Het is geen klassieke 12-bar blues maar een primitieve variant. Geïnspireerd op de rauwe blues van RL. Burnside, T-Model Ford en The Black Keys. Drummer Daan van de Ven (Stompin’ Grounds, The Doors in Concert) en Peter Beeker (gitaar en zang) maken daar een eigen noisy geheel van. Explosief en gruizig.
