Deze week is het feest! De Nieuwe Anita bestaat 20 jaar, en dat moet gevierd worden.
We vieren dat we al 20 jaar een podium zijn voor experiment. Van doorgewinterde podiumbeesten tot zwetende first time DJ’s. Van burlesque performances tot filmavonden, we doen het allemaal. Deze hele week eren we dat met een feestprogramma.

DUSTY STRAY
Hailing from Amsterdam, Dusty Stray features the alt-folk repertoire of Texan expat Jonathan Brown. He delves into universal themes of heartbreak, loneliness and death with a twisted sense of humor and a soothing touch. The songs are firmly rooted in folk and Americana (due to Brown’s Texan upbringing and musicianship) but always reach out to new horizons, be they through toy instrument accompaniment, electronica, space echoes or outsider art. MELQUI
Melqui is a band formed in Amsterdam, Netherlands in 2020. They signed to Bloomer Records in 2022 and released their self-titled EP ‘MELQUI’ that year, described as delicate, tranquil, and melancholic. The Latin grooves and vocal cadence in MELQUI pay homage to Lau’s Argentinian and Portuguese musical heritage and draw comparisons to artists such as Devendra Bahnhart and Tim Bernardes.
