— Many activities! —
Open: 15.00 – 19.00 Entry: free (DONATION BASED EVENT)
On the 29th of November we invite you to come, bring your fellows, learn and be inspired to collectively grow solidarity and generate global support for the struggle against extractivism in Barroso and beyond, in the global south. Let’s raise some funds together to support the resistance!

The struggle against a proposed open-pit lithium mine in Barroso, in the north of the Iberian Peninsula (Portugal), continues, now with the support of the Dutch company AMG Critical Minerals as one of its biggest investors.

People in Barroso have have been resisting the mining project for many years, successfully slowing down its advance despite repression as the mining is supported by the Portuguese state and the EU – recently making prospection machines leave the commonlands.
All funds raised go directly in support of the struggle.

So come by, bring your friends and family, and bring your support (donations can be made cash and pin!).

What to expect:
Mini-market
Bakesale (donating baked goods is also very welcome if you love to bake)
Live screen printing (bring fabric/clothing)
Live music (hosted by Lars)
Workshop/lecture (information will follow)
VOKU (soup!)
Clothing swap

Also, the building will host a flea market organised by the residents, for you to gather your first Christmas gifts, extend your fashion style or dress up your home.

More detailed programme will follow, keep an eye out on the website and socials.
