Having spent their formative years in São Paulo Brazil, as a teenager, Lau Ro found themself uprooted from their home. Moving with their family to Europe in search of a better quality of life, their story was like that of many immigrants in the same position. Lau Ro’s parents found work in factories and cleaning jobs, for the first few years in the North of Italy and then in Brighton on England’s Southern coast. “We never managed to visit back home, so my connection to Brazil became largely made up of childhood memories and my fascination with all the 60s and 70s music I could find from there.”
DON MELODY CLUB (NL)
Once started as a solo home-recording project by Donald Madjid, Don Melody Club has evolved into a compelling five-member live formation. Their musical journey set off with the debut album ‘’Pure Donzin’’ released on the renowned Swiss label Bongo Joe in 2021. With this, Don gained a niche following and the album has since been dubbed a dutch cult classic.
In April 2022, Don, with the full live lineup, entered the Jan Schenk studio in Amsterdam to record new work. This adventurous sound, with new influences echoing from the 80’s like Talking Heads and Doe Maar, along clearly audible dub effects, shows that Don Melody Club enjoys keeping the band’s spectrum and style broad and experimental. Despite exploring and expanding the sound, the vocals and his distinctive voice always remain a common thread throughout the music. In January 2024, the new work released in the form of a 5-track EP titled “Zonder Pardon” on the Amsterdam-based label Excelsior Recordings.

Coco Maria
Born in Mexico, Coco María grew up surrounded by the sound of music, rapidly developing not only a love for listening to the sounds of her childhood, but for sharing it too. Her taste for high vibration music led Coco to discover afro-latin rhythms from South and Central America, Brazil, the Caribbean, and beyond. Today, her selection is a mixture of joyful and obscure gems ranging from jazz to samba, latin-funk, cumbia, alongside an assortment of rarities from sunnier, far-off places.Coco María hosted the flagship morning show “Breakfast Club Coco” on Gilles Peterson´s London-based online radio Worldwide FM. She can also be found showcasing her original sounds at festivals globally such as Worldwide Sète, Dekmantel, We out Here and more. In 2021 , she stepped into the game of compilation curating with “Club Coco” on the Swiss label Bongo Joe. This included a song of her own and her debut as a composer

The Bootleg Bunny Show is a curated all-vinyl experience by Tomo Katsurada, best known as a founding member of Kikagaku Moyo. Spinning exclusively 7” singles, the show dives deep into Katsurada’s eclectic taste, blending favorite tunes from across all genres with a distinct touch of psychedelia.
Originally debuting as a radio program on Worldwide FM in 2020, The Bootleg Bunny Show has since evolved into a vibrant musical journey, infused with Katsurada’s playful creativity and love for discovery.
