Esther Nano “Always On the Run”

Ester Nano was born in Berat Alb, raised in Athens Gr and since 2022 she has been living and working in Amsterdam. She studied International and European Relations at Panteion University and attended  artistic photography seminars at “Diadromes Photography Seminars and Workshops”. Her involvement with collage began 4 years ago, the post quarantine years as she likes to refer to and since then she has held 3 collage workshops, she has worked on 3 EP covers and has created multiple visual collages to accompany editorial content in magazines in Greece. 

The human condition and the environment, the women who raised her and those she is growing old with, her female friends, her immigrant identity, belongingness, the passage of time and the music of Kae Tempest are some of the “places” she draws inspiration from and the themes she seems to be exploring the most through her collages.
