Step into Rommy Gabay‘s world, where the soulful melodies act as her compass on a journey of self-discovery. Through her emotive voice, she shares stories that resonate with the heart, encouraging reflection and connection. Drawing inspiration from a blend of Pop, Hip-hop, and Soul, Rommy, along with her band, crafts a dynamic sound that captivates audiences. She released 5 singles and has been touring over the past three years with her band. After playing at Popronde and earning a spot at Hit The North, she is now fully focused on her upcoming EP Apricity, which will be released in December and signals a new artistic chapter.

Alberto speaks / raps lyrics that address societal injustices. For example, The Ballad of a Never-ending Elevator Accident is a poignant critique of how late-stage capitalism has led to inequality, climate crisis, and a lack of empathy for our fellow travelers. It is bleak and powerful stuff.

Harriet Bergman is a philosopher, activist, writer and researcher, based in Amsterdam. She studied Philosophy at the University of Amsterdam. Her current PhD research at the University of Antwerp focusses on discomfort & climate change activism, with an emphasis on the ways queer, feminist, and anti-racist thinking links to issues of climate change, and she is closely connected with artist collective Fossil Free Culture NL, and the horizontally organised mass action group Code Rood. She writes fiction and is part of the Feminist Alcoholic Society.

Kaylie vertelt als songwriter met doeltreffende melodieën en teksten haar verhalen, maar experimenteert ook met metaforen en invloeden buiten de westerse traditie. Naast pop speelt ze met genre’s als soul, rock en soms met zelfs een vleugje flamenco. Op het podium zorgt ze voor een intieme sfeer en straalt plezier en energie uit. Naast haar soloproject is ze ook actief als zangeres in 29Fooi, waar speelsheid en creativiteit centraal staan.

De avond wordt gepresenteerd door Tijdelijke Toon, de schade bedraagt een donatie tussen de 5,- en de 15,- euro. Om 20:00 openen de deuren en om 20:30 gaat het programma van start!
