Pa-Pau-Paul presents: Kino Motel & NORBERTINE

Doors 20.00, first show 21.00, entrance 9,- tickets here

Kino Motel
Beach Goth duo Kino Motel created their 10-track debut album Visions between the band’s 2 homes: Melbourne and Berlin. Ed Fraser (Heads. / Cash Savage & The Last Drinks) and Rosa Mercedes (Josephine Foster Band) have created a unique and visionary album filled with space, mood, feeling and complexity. Heavily inspired by the spaces in which they travel, with Visions we see music videos shot by the band in Albania, Northern Ireland, and Australia. Ed and Rosa convey feelings and ideas of shifting landscapes and open-ended roads – “like a movie in your head” as described by Radioeins Berlin’s Marion Brasch. Kino Motel’s debut album Visions is out April 26 on Beast Records (EU) & Heart of the Rat Records (AU/NZ). The band are following the release with tour dates across Europe.
“Pulsing pop from Kino Motel.” – Bandcamp (USA)
“It is wonderful music.” – Marion Brasch, Radioeins (Germany)
“Kino Motel are the real deal.” – The Wild Is Calling (USA)

NORBERTINE
writes industrial art rock ballads with DIY attitude. Futurism merged with classical piano, noise with emotional lyrics, metal percussion with distorted guitars, pole dance and a cosy darkness. Nihilistic end-of-the-world songs accompanied by intimate love ballads. Inspired by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Einstürzende Neübauten and The Kills. Chaos, calm, deceit, truth. Contrast. A last attempt to understand love and the world.

DJ
Of course, you’ll be able to dance afterwards
