Witte Geit: A peaceful Mind…!?
JUNKMANS CHOIR
Junkman’s Choir are a folk-punk band from Ayrshire, Scotland, formed in 2003. The group emerged from earlier Scottish underground acts including Nyah Fearties and Dub Skelper. Their music blends a wide range of styles including Cajun, folk, country, sea shanties, punk and rock, producing a distinctive sound often described as a lively mix of traditional storytelling and high-energy folk-punk. Over the years, Junkman’s Choir have performed both on stage and as street musicians, often using a compact lineup with instruments such as accordion, pocket trumpet, guitar and vocals, creating a raw and energetic live sound. The band has developed a reputation for inventive arrangements and lyrical storytelling, drawing influence from artists such as Tom Waits, from whose lyrics the band’s name was taken.
KIKI
