20 jaar Anita: Global Charming, The Earwurms + DJ’s

Deze week is het feest! De Nieuwe Anita bestaat 20 jaar, en dat moet gevierd worden. 

We vieren dat we al 20 jaar een podium zijn voor experiment. Van doorgewinterde podiumbeesten tot zwetende first time DJ’s. Van burlesque performances tot filmavonden, we doen het allemaal! Deze hele week eren we dat met een feestprogramma. 

Dus kom langs, kom het vieren! 

Live: Global Charming, The Earwurms

Global Charming are a post-punk quartet emerging from the Amsterdam underground, celebrating the banality of everyday life in minimalism. On their album Mediocre, Brutal the band explore the monotony of daily routines, resulting in a debut that is both infectious, and unsettling in its weariness. Pre-listen their music here

The Earwurms are a “conceptual” punk band, created by three accidental women. Their songs mention themes like the joy and understanding of the banal. They explore how being a woman affects their lives and how to deal with the confusion that comes along with it. With savoury words and a shebang of sound they wiggle their way into your ears

DJ’s Ed Rock, Oscar Smit en FTGRL zorgen voor de muziek.

Butcher’s Tears gaat ons deze avond voorzien van vers getapt bier.
