The country has been marked by political instability and recurring armed conflicts for several decades which put the civilian in a vulnerable position and the increase of violence .
After the military coup in 2013 specifically, sexual violence has been weaponised and women and children are the first victims.
The civilian, humanitarian and security crises in C.A.R. have been merely invisible in the media and therefore lack awareness and financial aid…
For this occasion we will host this benefit event to raise money to donate to grass-roots organisation Mobēa, that supports women that have been traumatised by the conflict and helps them re-integrate in creating a formation center in Bangui, the capital of C.A.R.
Today we would like to invite you to come together to learn, to engage, to have conversations, to taste and to enjoy the acts by our wonderful engaged artists.
