On the 23rd of April RietveldTV warmly welcomes you for an evening of screenings, performance, and immersive works by both current and former Rietveld students.
RietveldTV is the Gerrit Rietveld Academie’s monthly TV show hosted on AT5 and Vimeo. Every month an alum is invited by a curatorial team* of four students to use 12 minutes on local television as a framework to develop a new work. The theme of this year, Two Truths and a Lie, asked how reality can be subtly constructed, questioning where truth ends and storytelling begins. Ultimately questioning how we construct and edit reality, both in life and in film, and challenge each other to reconsider what is “real”.
