Stories from Shamehill is inmiddels al meer dan tien jaar bezig met een instrumentale reis die de surfband onder andere naar Los Angeles, Livorno en Leeuwarden heeft gebracht. De met reverb doordrenkte, ongepolijste sound van de band zou niet misstaan in een obscure Quentin Tarantino film. Meedogenloze uptempo knallers en plain ol' wave riders.

Baba Pen is de nieuwe spirituele leider uit het oosten. Psychrock met sporen van country, Folk en mystiek worden gebracht in een ritueel jasje.
