Freddy and the Scabies Sisters are probably Amsterdam’s most famous cross-dressing bluegrass band. Dressed in bright floral frocks, they belt out songs of booze, heartbreak, and other existential nuisances—with blood, sweat, and a monumental hangover. Expect joy, longing, and a deeply unhealthy dose of confusion. This is bluegrass for those who know that decency rarely makes a good chorus.
